Cowboys rookie WR Terrance Williams undergoes concussion test

Cowboys rookie wide receiver Terrance Williams was shaken up during Friday’s practice and underwent a concussion evaluation, Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reported.

DallasCowboys.com suggested that Williams could potentially miss the club’s first two preseason games: Sunday’s meeting with Miami in Canton, Ohio and Friday’s contest at Oakland.

A third-round pick from Baylor, Williams is listed as second-string behind Miles Austin on the Cowboys’ depth chart. Williams is one of the top candidates to be the club’s third receiver — an important role in Dallas’ pass-happy offense, considering the attention defenses must pay to wideout Dez Bryant, tight end Jason Witten and Austin.

How can you even distinguish if a Cowboys player is concussed? Given their Wonderlic scores, they probably can’t even count the number of fingers in front of their faces.

Wanted to see Williams in action Sunday. However I don’t think he will beat out Harris this year for the 3rd WR spot.

This concussion happend on Friday which makes me wonder why were they doing anything other than a walk through a couple days before a game? Preseason game, but still.
