Bills quarterback Kevin Kolb is having a bad training camp, and that has nothing to do with his on-field performances.
According to Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News, Kolb has been excused from tonight’s practice because of a death in his family. There were no other specifics, and our condolences go out to him.
This comes after he suffered a knee injury while slipping on a rubber mat on his way to the practice field last Saturday. Coach Doug Marrone referred to his condition as “day-to-day.”
Kolb’s competing with rookie E.J. Manuel for the starting job, but at this point, would probably like to just get through the next few weeks.
