Myron Lewis, a 2010 third-round draft pick of the Buccaneers, is out after three seasons and one start.
A league source tells PFT that the Buccaneers waived Lewis today.
The Bucs liked Lewis a lot coming out of Vanderbilt, where he was an All-SEC cornerback, and took him with the 67th overall pick in the draft. But he has had limited playing time in Tampa Bay, seeing the field mostly on special teams.
Lewis will now be available on waivers. If no one claims him, he’ll be an unrestricted free agent.
