The Bears signed safety Derrick Martin on Sunday, the club said.

Martin, 28, will vie to make the Bears’ roster as a reserve defensive back and special-teams player. He appeared in five regular-season games for New England in 2012 and recorded five tackles on defense. Martin has also had stints with the Ravens (2006-2008), Packers (2009-2010) and Giants (2011).

In a corresponding roster move, the Bears waived first-year safety Cyhl Quarles. The club has all 90 roster spots filled.

No. The real joke is your Steelers, which the Bears will leave crying like little boys with no lunch money on 9/22. Bet on it.

Emery needs to pay attintion to the O-LINE get rid of Webb and pick up a rookie. Working on the O-line should be the only thing on the mind of Emery, Trestman, and Kromer, How are they going to hold Cutler responsible for Winning games with offensive production if the line dont give him Time? and they wont get the message until somebody gets FIRED.
