The Giants are waiting to see the condition of one of their key defensive players, after safety Antrell Rolle was carted off the practice field this afternoon.

According to the multiple reports, Rolle got tangled up with tight end Bear Pascoe, and had trouble putting weight on his right foot when he got up.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said after practice he didn’t have much of an update on Rolle, other than that he would have an MRI on his ankle.

Rolle has been a steady presence for the Giants, as he hasn’t missed a game in three seasons and led them in tackles the last two years.

No excuses when Dez puts up 200 yds Week 1 against the Giants!

No excuses when Dez takes Sunday night off and puts up nothing but goose eggs.

Right. Except Eli owns your defense in that stadium we’re playing in come week 1, so if Dez puts up 200 – look for the Giants offense to put up 500 on your sorry defense.

  3. No excuse for cowgirls and midgets when The Redskins Offense embarrasses both your sorry teams on National TV again and again… From Your NFC East Divisional Champions 2012-13.

  4. You know it’s preseason when fans of the biggest underachievers are talking smack about how their team is going to do this or that.
If you are a cowboys fan or a redskin fan, shut the heck up and hope/pray for something that has not happened for 15-20 years. Both of our teams have been embarrassing sideshows in the more recent years.
And certainly don’t pick a fight with the most successful team in our division.
