The Saints continue to look high and low for some help at wide receiver.

According to Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Saints have added former Cowboys and Chargers wideout Patrick Crayton, who was at practice this morning.

This was after they brought in veteran Steve Breaston when they lost Joe Morgan for the year with a torn ACL.

Starters Marques Colston and Lance Moore are intact, and having a fleet of complementary backs and tight end Jimmy Graham mitigates the panic.

But dragging in veterans might also indicate that they’re not quite ready to trust either Kenny Stills or Nick Toon with a bigger role.
