The NFL hasn’t said anything about the latest wave of reports on how close HGH testing actually is, but the NFLPA is preparing its membership.

According to the Associated Press, the NFLPA sent a memo to its members saying they had “tentatively agreed” for a plan that would include 40 players per week taking blood tests for HGH each week during the season, and that a positive result would yield a four-game suspension.

The memo was sent to players Tuesday, and said the league and the union “will likely finalize soon” the in-season testing procedures.

Since this testing was agreed to more than two years ago and hasn’t been put into place yet, we’re waiting to get worked up about this plan until something is actually finalized.
