Roddy White’s ankle not serious

There’s no word as to whether Falcons wide receiver Roddy White will play in the next preseason game, but his injured ankle apparently isn’t a huge concern.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, White would play if the next one was a regular season game.

The veteran wideout has a streak of 128 straight games, and making it 129 in the regular season opener doesn’t appear to be in jeopardy.

The Falcons have plenty of offensive options, and with running back Steven Jackson playing well last night (eight carries for 42 yards), they should have ample cover for the exhibition season.

Whew! I don’t much care for Roddy’s lack of verbal self control, but you can’t argue with his production on the field. This offense is going to be a lot of fun to watch this season.

I’m a Raven fan and I just WISH we had at least ONE of their top 2 receivers to go opposite of Torrey Smith. I love Jacoby but he just isnt #2 receiver material. He can dance though!!!

That is a pretty impressive starts streak for a WR, didn’t know Rowdy Roddy was that durable.

I know right?! That ankle needs to stop cracking jokes and start growing up.
