This just in: Tom Brady seems to be OK

If Tom Brady was in any way bothered by his left knee, it was impossible to tell.

He’s already got the Patriots on the scoreboard, and erased any worry about his physical condition.

As expected, Brady started against the Buccaneers, wearing his normal game-day brace on his left knee. He wasn’t wearing it Wednesday when Bucs defensive end Adrian Clayborn pushed Patriots left tackle Nate Solder back into him, causing an entire region to hold its breath.

Last week, Brady played 16 snaps, completing 7-of-8 passes for 65 yards and a quick touchdown before calling it a night.

He’s still waiting for his first incompletion tonight, hitting all eight of his attempts on the opening drive, including a touchdown pass to Danny Amendola and the two-point conversion.
