The Bills placed wide receiver Kevin Elliott on injured reserve on Sunday, the club said.

Coach Doug Marrone announced Saturday that Elliott had suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

The 24-year-old Elliott is in his second NFL season. He played in 12 games for Jacksonville in 2010, catching 10 passes for 108 yards. The Bills signed him in December after Jacksonville waived him.

In other Bills roster moves, the club released offensive lineman Tony Hills, defensive back Mark LeGree, wide receiver Terrell Sinkfield and defensive back Don Unamba on Sunday. Sinkfield and Unamba are undrafted free agents, while Hills and LeGree are NFL veterans.
