Many think Colts tight end Coby Fleener could have a huge sophomore season. But he first has to be able to play, and at a minimum Fleener received a scare in that regard on Sunday night.
He exited the preseason game against the Colts with a knee injury. The Colts are calling it a “mild” sprain; it’s unclear at this point whether Fleener has undergone an MRI to determine the precise extent of the injury.
Fleener, a second-round pick in 2012, is one of several potent weapons that Colts have on offense. He recently missed some practice time after suffering a concussion.
