New York Jets outside linebacker Quinton Coples could miss up to a month of action after injuring his ankle against the Jacksonville Jaguars Saturday night.
According to Jane McManus of ESPNNewYork.com, Coples fell awkwardly after blocking a pass from Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne late in the second quarter. He spent some time pacing up and down the sidelines with trainers before eventually being carted to the locker room for further evaluation
Per McManus, Coples could miss three to four weeks with a hairline fracture of his ankle.
Coples appeared in all 16 games for the Jets last season as a rookie with two starts and recorded 30 tackles on the year.
