An injury in the middle of the Giants’ offensive line is going to create a change on the edge.

With center David Baas on the shelf with an MCL sprain, the Giants are going to shuffle things.

According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, the plan is to shift guard Kevin Boothe to center, and then move veteran right tackle David Diehl inside to guard to make room for rookie Justin Pugh to play right tackle.

Diehl took a pay cut this offseason, then saw the team use a first-round pick for his eventual replacement, which probably made a move to guard inevitable.
