Broncos waive 11

The Denver Broncos have made the drop from 88 players to 77.

Waived were receiver Kemonte’ Bateman, cornerback Mario Butler, tackle Manase Foketi, quarterback Ryan Katz, linebacker Uona Kaveinga, cornerback Nigel Malone, receiver Quincy McDuffie (waived/injured), receiver Greg Orton (waived/injured), tight end Deangelo Peterson, center/guard Quentin Saulsberry, and defensive end Lanston Tanyi.  McDuffie and Orton will revert to the injured-reserve list if not claimed on waivers.

The Broncos have until 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday to make two more roster moves.

And they likely won’t submit their final moves by fax.

umm, yeah, that’s why you’re not an analyst.

  2. For PR purposes only, they dropped 11 instead of intended 12, no question.
The headline of “BRONCOS DROP A 12 PACK” could be taken in a couple different directions.

What makes them overrated? Because they lost Miller for 6 games? The Broncos offense is incredibly explosive, if they cut back on the fumbles then those first 6 teams are gonna have to score over 30 points in order to keep up.

They don’t have Miller or Dumervil, but they do have a top 5 run stop defense and a top 5 secondary who btw didn’t even allow a single 300 yard passer last year (other then Flacco in the playoffs of course…)

The fax jokes are getting old. Sounds like a broken record.

Then you are really going to hate week one. I hope Foketi gets a gig somewhere. Some names just belong on a roster.
