The Chargers announced the release of 10 players on Sunday night, including ex-Seahawks wide receiver Deon Butler.

The club now has 80 players on the roster. It must cut at least five more players by Tuesday, per NFL rules.

The other players released were running back Edwin Baker, center Colin Baxter, cornerback Greg Brown, safety Tony Burnett, guard Brandyn Dombrowski, quarterback Nathan Enderle, punter Richard Kent, defensive lineman Jamarcus McFarland and tight end Dallas Walker.

Butler, 27, had played the previous four seasons with Seattle, catching 57 passes for 611 yards and four touchdowns from 2009 through 2012.

Uh, Buttler was cut from the Seahawks last year. We’re too talented for him.

I didn’t think Dombrowski would make it this year but I am surprised that they got him with the first 10 to go.

Idk why he’s obsessing over butler, I don’t even think he had one catch this preseason

Yeah , I was surprised Dombrowski went in the first cuts for a team in serious need of O-linemen (although they did draft D.J. Fluker). His father , Jim , was a beast for the Saints in the late 80′s.

Deon Butler gets focused on because he was a player if anyone followed his career that is extremely fast and flashed talent on Sunday and the practice field. Sadly there are many young guys like him that this Tuesday may be the end of the road for their NFL career.

Butler just wasn’t the same without that Seattle Adderall.

That IS stunning. He must have some kind of blackmail-worthy photos of someone in the Spanos family.

How ignorant are raider fans to actually talk trash about any other franchise. Open your mouth when u have a winning season for the first time in a decade. Losers.
