The Eagles are down to 78 players after parting ways with 10 players on Sunday.

There aren’t any surprising names on the list as the Eagles mostly trimmed roster fat ahead of Tuesday’s deadline to get to 75 players. Among the possibly recognizable names on the list is wide receiver and punt returner Nick Miller, who returned a punt for a touchdown with the Rams in 2011 and re-signed with the team this offseason after Jeremy Maclin injured his knee.

The Eagles also cut punter Brad Wing, who was competing with Donnie Jones for the punting job this summer. Wing played at LSU in college before declaring himself eligible for the 2013 draft. The Eagles signed him after he went unselected, but a team named after a bird will not have a player named Wing on the roster.

Tight end Derek Carrier, defensive end Eddie McClam, tackle Nic Purcell, defensive end/outside linebacker Isaac Remington, tight end Will Shaw, defensive tackle Daryell Walker, cornerback Eddie Whitley and long snapper James Winchester were also let go on Sunday.
