PFT on NBCSN: Previewing new coaches and contract-year players

Gus Bradley AP

There aren’t many days left in August and players are getting cut all around the league, which means the season opener is just around the corner.

With that in mind, Pro Football Talk on NBCSN will be previewing some of the biggest storylines of the year to come. We’ll start at our new time of 5:30 p.m. ET with a look at the new coaches around the league. There are familiar faces from other teams (Andy Reid) and the college ranks (Chip Kelly, Doug Marrone) along with several assistants getting their first NFL chance in the big chair (Gus Bradley, Rob Chudzinski, Mike McCoy, Bruce Arians, Marc Trestman).

The crew will also catch you up on some of the big names who are heading into the final year of their contracts. Quarterbacks Jay Cutler and Josh Freeman are sure to make the list, but Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins and Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo guarantee that we won’t only be talking about signal callers.

It all gets going at the new time of 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
