An arrest warrant has been issued by a California judge for former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young after missing yet another court date on burglary changes. It was the fourth court appearance Young has missed since being charged.
According to Gillian Flaccus of the Associated Press, Orange County Superior Court Judge Andre Manssourian issued a $100,000 bench warrant for Young after meeting with his counsel and the district attorney on Tuesday.
Young’s lawyer, Altus Hudson, told the AP he doesn’t expect his client to be arrested as the court knows Young’s location.
Young had pleaded not guilty on four felony and seven misdemeanor after allegedly breaking into a home in San Clemente, Calif. on May 10. The break-in happened during a stretch when Young was arrested three times in less than a week.
