For the teams that did most of their cutting earlier, the process of getting the final few spots down to 75 is usually about housekeeping.
The Colts took care of theirs, by making three more moves Tuesday to get to the limit. They waived-injured wide receiver Nathan Palmer, placed safety John Boyett on the reserve/non-football injury list and moved linebacker Josh McNary to the reserve/military list.
Palmer will revert to IR if he’s not claimed. He was signed off the 49ers practice squad last year and caught a pass.
The Colts drafted Boyett in the sixth round, knowing he’d likely miss most of the year after knee injuries limited him to one game as a senior at Oregon.
