The final night of preseason football is upon us, but PFT Live will look past any previews of those slappie-filled contests to the regular season that begins a week from Thursday night.
Mike Florio will talk to Rich Tandler of CSN Washington about what the start of the season will bring for the Redskins, including but not limited to a discussion of what to expect from quarterback Robert Griffin III in his much anticipated return from a torn ACL. We’re not sure anyone knows just how the Redskins will proceed with Griffin, but we’ll get Tandler’s take on that as well as his thoughts on some other players to watch in the early part of the year.
Tom Curran of CSN New England will also be on the show to talk about the defending AFC East champion Patriots. We’ll check in on tight end Rob Gronkowski’s status with the opener a little more than a week away and take stock of the changes to the receiving corps in New England.
