PFT on NBCSN: Preseason Week Four preview

Roger Goodell AP

The NFL preseason ends on Thursday night and Pro Football Talk on NBCSN will have everything you need to know about it on Thursday’s show.

Admittedly, it’s not a lot. Most teams are going to be playing without their starters or giving the first string just a cameo appearance before turning the game over to tomorrow’s backups, practice squadders and men looking for jobs outside the game of football. We’ll point out the few storylines that will still be playing out around the league during the games and get you set for the last night of football that doesn’t count.

We’ll also have the latest on the biggest NFL story of the day. That’s the settlement in the concussion lawsuit involving 4,500 former players that came down on Thursday afternoon, of course, and we’ll catch you up on all the biggest angles to the story.

It all gets started at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Why did you have to use that cover pic? You know we all hate him (well, dislike. Hate is a powerful word) and we’d really like him to open Madden up to competition again so we can get a good game.

Working overtime today, forgot the games were at 7. Hpefully I can speed home and not miss much. In the words of Bart Scott – Can’t wait.

Goodell’s pic must have been taken just after finding out how well the settlement went. Either that or he just finished fining James Harrison again.
