Report: Tom Brady won’t play tonight

While the NFL continues to process today’s concussion lawsuit litigation, there are going to be games tonight.

Sort of.

Most prominent players will do little, or nothing, in the preseason finales, and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is leaning toward the nothing.

According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, Brady “and many key starters” won’t play for the Patriots tonight against the Giants.

Unless a coach is willing to put his all starting offensive linemen and skill position players on the field, putting the starting quarterback out there doesn’t make much sense.

Unless, I suppose, the starting quarterback is Mark Sanchez.

He still may finish with more yards than Tebow.

It would be hilarious if Belichick put Brady in for the fourth quarter against the Giants scrubs. But then again, that would be crazy.

The sad thing is, although that is really funny it isn’t a joke. It is actually possible and maybe even likely.

I’m looking forward to it. The 4th preseason game is a big one for a few guys who are on the bubble.

I couldn’t care less about the other teams, but I would think every fan would want to see their own.

People actually fill the stadiums and pay 8 dollars for a beer, to see these games. Now that a settlement has been reached, you can bet the price of going to an NFL game has gone up in a lot of areas. Bring a full wallet. I choose not to be raked over the coals by the NFL.

But that Brady kid needs the practice ?
    this is just not fair.
maybe they want to see if Tebow can just take over the reigns now ?
