Breaking down the proposed concussion settlement

I’ve spent most of the last 26 hours thinking about and talking about the proposed settlement of the league’s concussion cases.  Through trial and error (mostly error), I’ve gotten to the point where I can quickly and thoroughly explain the details.

Just in time for the three-day Labor Day weekend to begin.

Before we all break out the briquets for one last open-air grilling of animal flesh, here’s a concise-as-possible break down of the basics of the proposed settlement, from today’s edition of PFT Live.

Why would it be one last grilling if animal flesh? Whether I’m back in Boston or my new home in South Carolina grilling animal flesh is a year round thing baby!

We’ll be tailgating. Grilling and cooking. We have done that in the ice and snow (albeit we get that about 1 time in a generation).

Looking at those Saints and LSU this weekend. Enjoying the family.

Thank you for the 26 hours pouring over this settlement, making some sense of it for us.
