Nick Folk is still the Jets’ kicker.

The Jets cut Dan Carpenter today, meaning Folk is the kicker who will make it on the Jets’ 53-man roster, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

Folk had plenty of competition throughout the offseason, as the Jets had previously brought in Billy Cundiff to compete with him. But after getting a look at both Carpenter and Cundiff, the Jets decided to stick with the guy they had, and Folk will enter his fourth season as the Jets’ kicker.
