Offensive lineman Kasey Studdard hasn’t played an NFL regular season game since 2010 and his chances at ending that streak got a little worse on Friday.

PFT has learned that Studdard will be one of the players released as the Titans make their way to 53 players. Studdard entered the NFL as a sixth-round pick of the Texans in 2007 and played 25 games for them over four years before missing all of 2011 with ankle surgery. He was cut by the Texans at this time last year and didn’t catch on with anyone until signing with the Titans.

Multiple reports out of Tennesse also have the Titans releasing running back Jalen Parmele, who was trying to earn a spot behind Chris Johnson on the depth chart after spending last season in Jacksonville. His departure bodes well for Jackie Battle’s hopes of joining Shonn Greene on that depth chart.

The Titans have also reportedly released offensive lineman Daniel Baldridge, defensive tackle Zach Clayton, TE Brandon Barden, linebacker Gary Guyton, defensive tackle Nigel Nicholas, wide receiver Dontel Watkins.
