The Oakland Raiders were hopeful Terrelle Pryor would put a stamp on his performance this preseason and earn the starting quarterback job with a strong performance against the Seattle Seahawks.

While Pryor may still win the job over Matt Flynn, his performance Thursday night was anything but spectacular.

Pryor played the entire first half for Oakland in their preseason finale and completed just 3 of 8 passes for 31 yards while throwing an interception and getting sacked twice. He did finish with three carries for 48 yards and led Oakland on two field goal scoring drives but his passer rating was a lowly 9.9 after four offensive series at the helm.

His best play of the game was a 25-yard scramble where he made Seahawks backup safety Jeron Johnson look silly with a juke in the open field. Offensive coordinator Greg Olson said the Raiders’ are looking for playmakers and Pryor can certainly bring an element Flynn is just not capable of. However, no matter who earns the starting nod at quarterback, it’s looking like it will be a rough year for the Raiders’ offense.
