Packers waive Dezman Moses

New York Giants Eli Manning passes over Green Bay Packers Dezman Moses in NFL game in East Rutherford Reuters

The Packers are moving on from one of their surprise players of 2012.

According to Ty Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Packers are waiving second-year outside linebacker Dezman Moses, who started six games for them last season.

Mozes, 24, made the Packers as a undrafted free agent from Tulane and appeared in all 16 regular-season games, notching 27 tackles and four sacks.

The 6-2, 249-pound Mozes could appeal to clubs employing 3-4 fronts, given his youth and his production a season ago.

    Turf toe all pre-season.
    That’s the reason.
Letting promising WR Walker go seems odd.
They may put him on the practice squad.
    When it comes to poetry,
    Mine’s clearly the victory.
