The Patriots are saying goodbye to another one of their recent second-round draft picks.

Jermaine Cunningham, the Patriots’ 2010 second-round pick, has been cut, a league source tells PFT.

The move comes days after the Patriots released Ras-I Dowling, another recent second-round draft pick who hasn’t panned out for a team that has had some major draft misses.

Cunningham was a starter as a rookie but largely fell out of the defensive line rotation in his second season. Last year he was suspended four games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.
