The Eagles have made a change to their depth chart at cornerback.

The club said Sunday it had added Shaun Prater on waivers from Cincinnati. To make room for Prater, cornerback Curtis Marsh was waived/injured.

An Iowa product, Prater (5-10, 190) was a fifth-round pick of the Bengals in 2012. However, he spent his first NFL regular season on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury. Prater appeared in all four preseason games for Cincinnati this summer, notching six tackles.

Marsh, 25, suffered a broken hand in August. He was the Eagles’ third-round pick in the 2011 draft. On Saturday, the Eagles released their top selection from that draft, guard Danny Watkins.

Marsh will be eligible to be claimed by any other club. If he goes unclaimed, he could land on the Eagles’ injured reserve list.
