Ravens bring back Furstenburg, others to practice squad

The Ravens cut a bunch of guys on Saturday, and they’ve brought some of them back on Sunday.

The team has announced the addition of seven players to the practice squad.  The maximum number per team is eight.

Joining the squad are safety Omar Brown, linebacker Brandon Copeland, tackle Jordan Devey, tight end Matt Furstenburg, defensive tackle Cody Larsen, center Reggie Stephens, and tackle J.J. Unga.  All seven had been waived by the Ravens as part of the move from 75 to 53.

The Ravens also waived receiver LaQuan Williams with the “injured” designation.  If he clears waivers, Williams will land on the team’s IR list.

  1. Isn’t furstenberg the guy ratbird fans were claiming was going to “burst on the scene” this season…???

    ROFLMFAO!! Silly ratbird fans…

    GO STEELERS!

  2. Some team will be very happy to add Laquan Williams to their team. Ravens get way too much credit for talent evaluation. They missed on this one. Can’t wait to hear Ravens fans complain that Flacco has no receivers and the line isn’t blocking and the play calling is horrible… Instead if blaming the ultimate problem.

  3. Is the ultimate problem our GM who would be in the hall of fame as just that if he weren’t already there as a tight end? Or our superbowl MVP QB who threw 11 touchdowns to no interceptions in the playoffs? The one who just wins games? These guys won us a Super Bowl.

Ravens will be much better than the national media is saying. Don’t buy in.
