Colts give Da’Rick Rogers a practice squad chance

One of the more intriguing prospects among this year’s undrafted free agents is back in the league, although in a new place.

Wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers has signed with the Colts practice squad, according to Tom Pelissero of USA Today.

Rogers was waived by the Bills in the first round of cuts.

A one-time teammates of Cordarrelle Patterson and Justin Hunter at Tennessee, he finished his career at Tennessee Tech after multiple failed drug tests. The talent has always been there, and seeing if he’s willing to develop it is worth the small ($6,000 a week) investment of a practice squad deal.

From what I hear, the guy has tons of athletic talent, but the key ingredient between the ears is missing

A poor attitude and work ethic trumps any amount of talent.

What a joke! If he can’t catch on to the Bills college playbook how in the world would he be able to adapt to the Colts?

I’ve worked 33 years to get to $6,000 a week.
I missed the boat some where.
