Texans bring back eight for their practice squad

gary_kubiak1

The Houston Texans have set their practice squad, and all eight players chosen have already spent time practicing with the team.

Houston’s practice squad consists entirely of players who were released by Houston last week during roster cuts.

The list includes defensive end Keith Browner, fullback Zach Boren, cornerback Roc Carmichael, receiver Andy Cruse, running back Ray Graham, guard/center Alex Kupper, linebacker Mike Mohamed and receiver EZ Nwachukwu.

All eight players cleared waivers after the Texans let them go. Two other rookies the Texans would have considered for their practice squad, nose tackle Chris Jones and running back Dennis Johnson, were claimed by other teams.
