PFT on NBCSN: Lamar Miller, Week One storylines

Ryan Tannehill, Lamar Miller AP

Two days and counting.

That’s how long it is before the 2013 NFL season is finally underway and we’ll be spending those days preparing ourselves and PFT Planet for all that’s coming our way. Pro Football Talk on NBCSN will do its part on Tuesday by outlining the biggest storylines for Week One.

From quarterback situations still to be settled to injuries that could keep prominent players on the sideline to a meeting between Darrelle Revis and the Jets, we’ll touch on all the stories to keep in mind as Week One unfolds at long last.

One storyline to watch in Miami is the one concerning running back Lamar Miller’s ascension to the starting lineup. We’ll find out how much of the workload in the running game will fall on Miller’s shoulders, the growth of quarterback Ryan Tannehill and goals for the season when he visits with Erik Kuselias.

It all gets started at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Is he going to be any good? I drafted him in the last round in an 8-team league.

If you are a PPR League, he will be top 10 at RB. Unfortunately, it will be run by committee, so Daniel Thomas will get plenty of snaps too. A good estimate is about 900 yards and 4-5 TDs. Sadly, this report coming from a die-hard Dolphins fan, but very avid Fantasy player.

You should remember him, he ran all over the Raiders last season week 2, doing mop up duty!!

He is RB2 … But I’m betting higher than most.
