The Giants made it official with running back Andre Brown, placing him on the injured reserve/designated for return.

But their choice of roster replacement could be interesting as it pertains to other positions.

According to Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger, the promotion of defensive end Adewale Ojomo to the 53-man roster from the practice squad gives them depth with the status of Jason Pierre-Paul and Damontre Moore in doubt.

“He’s had a few practices,” Coughlin said of Pierre-Paul, who is returning from back surgery. “He’s done well in what we’ve asked him to do. He’d like more and we’re going to try and accommodate him.”

It sounds less certain that Moore will be ready to contribute, so Ojomo gives them another pass-rush option.
