Eagles rule out Brandon Hughes, Dennis Kelly for Week One

The Eagles will enter the regular-season opener at Washington in fairly good shape from an injury perspective.

While reserve cornerback Brandon Hughes (hand) and backup right tackle Dennis Kelly (back) are now listed as out for Week One, no other players were on the Eagles’ Friday injury report.

The 27-year-old Hughes is one of the Eagles’ regulars on special teams. He’s appeared in 30 regular-season games for the club since 2010.

Kelly, 23, started seven games at right tackle and three at right guard in 2012 for Philadelphia. First-round pick Lane Johnson is the Eagles’ starting right tackle, with Todd Herremans the right guard. Herremans can also play right tackle, adding to the Eagles’ flexibility on this side of the line.

  1. Meanwhile, the Redskins (can I use that term here?) have listed RG3 as “Fragile, do not drop.”

  2. No, RgIII is questionable for life (knee’s, all of them that have been rebuilt) and the two of them that were left on the ER table.

    EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Why are the Skins brought in the Eagles injury report? Get a life. Vick should be listed as “Idiot-turnover machine, drop at all costs”. Skins 45 -10. Kiss the rings! Oh the Eagles have no Superbowl hardware…..and never will.

RGIII still gets love, even on an Eagles injury report…you haters are hilarious!!!

I’d be mad too if the fate of my season rested on Vick’s fragile shoulders…who has yet to finish a 16 game season.

BTW…RGIII has just as many playoff appearances as Vick and it only took him one season to accomplish that.

    HTTR!!!

the Skins win the Division for the first time since 1999 and all of a sudden their world-class?! give me a break!!!

Monday night will be a tougher game for the Skins than people think…

or 21 years . . . but who REALLY wants to count recent playoff wins ?

ROFLMAO = 1 Division Win, since the Nintendo Game boy, was the most popular item.

  8. Whenever a Redskins fan talks crap about Michael Vick, just kindly remind them of the whooping #7 laid down on them the last time they played on Monday Night Football. 59–28, Vick scored six Touchdowns that night (2 rushing and 4 passing).

Redskins fans are almost as bad as the Redskins themselves. Why are you even clicking on Eagles related topics? Losers!

Yes, rebuilt knees for RG3. Still better than any QB on your roster. Skins 45 – 10.

RG3 is a poor mans Michael Vick. Vicks faster and has a stronger arm. Goodluck on Monday night chump.
