Injury report for Eagles-Redskins is a short one

When the Eagles and Redskins get together on Monday night, there won’t be many guys who aren’t available to play.

For the Eagles, only one guy still on the roster appears on the injury report — tackle Dennis Kelly.  Cornerback Brandon Hughes, who has a hand injury, was cut earlier in the day.

For the home team, safety Brandon Meriweather appears as questionable with a groin injury.  He participated in practice on a limited basis on Saturday.  Nose tackle Barry Cofield (hand) and quarterback Kirk Cousins (foot) are probable.

The most important name for either team doesn’t appear on the list at all as Week One approaches — quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Redskins fans hope that Griffin will remain off the list when Week One ends, and beyond.

when Griffin goes out. I hope it’s on a good clean hit that allows no controversy. He is going out it’s not conceivable to me that he can play N.F.L. type football on that injury after only 9 mos. of rehab.

I wonder if the Eagles-Washington game of 2013 will be the precursor of NFL football in the 2020’s and beyond. I wonder if it might be the beginning of the most exciting football ever played, or the end of the game we love. Either is possible.

And Eagles fans hope Vick stays off the list, Giants fans hope Manning stays off the list, Pats fans hope Brady stays off the list, Packers fans hope Rodgers stays off the list, and Saints fans hope Brees stays off the list.

No worries, this offense can score whether RG3 plays or not!! It’s the defense that needs Meriweather to hold up, and the rookies in back to get up to speed…

Gibson34,Can you tell me how the Cowboys are going to dominate this division without a running game?

Can you tell me how the Cowboys are going to dominate this division with a QB that led the league in INTs

Can you tell me how the Cowboys are going to dominate this division when they cannot stop the run????

Only thing the Cowboys are going to dominate is a popularity contest!!!
