Injury report for Eagles-Redskins is a short one

Cousins

When the Eagles and Redskins get together on Monday night, there won’t be many guys who aren’t available to play.

For the Eagles, only one guy still on the roster appears on the injury report -- tackle Dennis Kelly. Cornerback Brandon Hughes, who has a hand injury, was cut earlier in the day.

For the home team, safety Brandon Meriweather appears as questionable with a groin injury. He participated in practice on a limited basis on Saturday. Nose tackle Barry Cofield (hand) and quarterback Kirk Cousins (foot) are probable.

The most important name for either team doesn’t appear on the list at all as Week One approaches -- quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Redskins fans hope that Griffin will remain off the list when Week One ends, and beyond.
