Rodgers ends business relationship with Ryan Braun

Rodgers

When Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers appropriately called out Brewers slugger Ryan Braun in July for lying to Rodgers about PED use, Rodgers said it hadn’t been determined whether their restaurant partnership will continue.

A determination has now been made: Braun is out.

Via the Associated Press, SURG Restaurant Group will change the name of the 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill in Milwaukee. The name also will be changed for what would have been a second 8-Twelve location in Bayshore.

SURG operated the restaurant under a licensing agreement with the players. Rodgers will continue to be associated with SURG, with “a focus on community relations and charitable activities.”

Another SURG restaurant affiliated only with Braun will close by the end of the year. It’s name is Graffito, which may or may not be Italian for “Juice Bar.”
