Three of the Browns’ first-half drives ended in interceptions.

However, one finished in a touchdown, and that was enough to stake Cleveland to a lead at halftime against Miami on Sunday.

Tight end Jordan Cameron hauled in a seven-yard touchdown late in the second quarter, giving Cleveland a 7-6 edge after two quarters.

Now, about Brandon Weeden’s three interceptions.

One was on a 3rd down from the Miami 40 that ended up essentially as a coffin-corner punt, pinning the Dolphins at their one-yard line. The second pick clanged off of Greg Little’s hands and was picked by Dolphins cornerback Dimitri Patterson. Finally, the the last of his first-half interceptions deflected off Cameron’s hands and into the hands of Patterson, who made a diving catch.

All things considered, Weeden could have ended up with one pick — and that interception put Miami near its own endzone.

Weeden finished the first half with 12 completions on 21 attempts for 118 yards.
