The first week of the regular season ends with a pair of games on Monday night.

The Eagles and the Redskins are up first and the teams have handed in their lists of inactive players for the game. The Eagles won’t dress defensive end Vinny Curry, a familiar spot for the 2012 second-round pick after he spent the first 10 games of his rookie season as an observer. Fletcher Cox, Cedric Thornton, Clifton Geathers and Damion Square will be the defensive ends up for the Eagles.

Tackle Matt Tobin, cornerback Shawn Prater, tackle Dennis Kelly, quarterback Matt Barkley and tight end Emil Igwenagu are also inactive for the Eagles, who have six inactives this week because they only have 52 players on the roster.

Safety Brandon Meriweather is out for the Redskins as a result of the groin injury he suffered in practice last week. That now makes 16 of 17 games missed by Meriweather since he joined the team. Reed Doughty will start in his place. The Redskins also have deactivated quarterbacks Pat White and Rex Grossman, leaving them with two quarterbacks on the roster for Monday night.

Running back Evan Royster, defensive back Jose Gumbs, guard Josh LeRibeus and defensive lineman Chris Neild round out Washington’s inactive list.
