PFT Live: Sean Payton, Larry Fitzgerald

Atlanta Falcons v New Orleans Saints

Sean Payton made his return to the Saints sideline on Sunday, leading the team to a win over the Falcons in front of a Superdome crowd that was thrilled to see him back with the team.

We’ll find out how Payton thought everything went when he joins Mike Florio on Tuesday’s edition of PFT Live. We’ll hear Payton’s thoughts on how his team looked in the opener, particularly about a defensive performance that exceeded most expectations for what Rob Ryan’s unit would be able to accomplish after a historically bad 2012 season.

Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald’s Cardinals didn’t wind up on the winning side of the scoreboard in Week One, so he probably won’t have quite as much positive to say as Payton. The day wasn’t a total loss for Fitzgerald, though, as he benefitted from the upgrade in quarterback to Carson Palmer against the Rams. We’ll find out how he felt it went and what the Cardinals need to do this week to avoid a second straight loss.
