Andy Reid’s probably still finding his way around Kansas City.
But for the next three weeks, he gets to plan for the teams he knows the best.
After beating the Jaguars Sunday, the Chiefs embark on a three-week swing through the NFC East, with the Cowboys at home before a short week and his return to Philadelphia, before another home game with the Giants.
“You watch that tape, and they’re a good team, and obviously Andy Reid is an outstanding football coach,” Garrett said, via Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star. “He’s put this program in place up in Kansas City. . . . The colors are different, but we’ve gone against him a lot, and we have an immense amount of respect for him and what he’s done and the kind of program he’ll put together. It does not surprise me one bit he’s gone in there and had the success he had [Sunday].
Reid won seven division titles in 14 years, and has a 51-37 record against the Cowboys, Giants and Redskins (who the Chiefs won’t see until December).
