Broncos give contract extension to Manny Ramirez

The Denver Broncos announced a two-year contract extension for center Manny Ramirez on Wednesday. He is now under contract with the Broncos through the 2015 season.

Ramirez appeared in 15 games and made 11 starts at right guard for the Broncos in 2012 and was playing out the final year of his contract with Denver. Ramirez assumed the starting job at center for Denver after injuries to J.D. Walton and Dan Koppen this offseason.

Walton is on the physically unable to perform list for the Broncos with an ankle injury and Koppen landed on injured reserve with a torn ACL.
