The Browns are about to get their first-round pick back on the field.
According to Ed Werder of ESPN, outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo has been medically cleared for contact, and is expected to practice and play this week.
Mingo missed the opener after suffering a bruised lung on Aug. 15 in a preseason game.
He has done some degree of conditioning work in the view of reporters, but hasn’t been involved in anything resembling contact.
Getting back to work today, and getting through practice without any complications, would be a good sign he’s ready to face the Ravens Sunday.
