It was easy for the Bills to sell out a Week One visit from Tom Brady and the Patriots. It was a little harder to sell out a Week Two game against Cam Newton and the Panthers.
Via Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, roughly 1,600 non-premium seats remained available on Wednesday. By Thursday, the tickets were sold and the blackout was lifted.
The Bills have announced that both the September 15 game against Carolina and the September 29 game against the Ravens have been sold out.
Potential blackouts could come later in the year, when the Bills host the Chiefs (November 3), the Jets (November 17), and the Dolphins (December 22). The Bills have three September home games and then only four in Buffalo after that, with a December 1 game against the Falcons played in Toronto.
