We’re closing out the week of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN with an AFC West flavor.

Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker will join the crew ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Giants in New Jersey and we’ll hear his thoughts about going up against that defense during his visit. We’ll also find out whether Decker thinks Peyton Manning can throw for another seven touchdowns this weekend and if Decker thinks he might catch one this time after getting shut out in the opener.

Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor will also be on hand less than a week after his performance against the Colts almost allowed Oakland to steal one on the road. We’ll find out how comfortable Pryor feels running an offense he took over late in the preseason and hear his expectations for the rest of the 2013 season.

It all gets started at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

  1. Lifelong, die-hard Broncos fan here. Eric Decker is just “a guy,” nothing special. He routinely drops passes/TDs and falls down/slides and inopportune times.

Someone is going to overpay him this offseason, just glad it won’t be Denver.

  2. I hope Decker doesn’t make me thoroughly regret drafting him this year. I think as Demaryius Thomas continues to shred defenses apart, he’ll draw more double-teams and open things up for Decker.

Peyton is the type of QB who can get anyone involved in the offense if he so chooses, so I expect a better game from Decker this week. Another thing working against him is the fact that the Broncos are poised to hold a lot of leads throughout the season, and they should be pounding the rock late in games instead of airing it out to control the clock.
