Don’t expect to see Dwayne Allen on the field for the Colts on Sunday against the Dolphins.

The Colts announced on Saturday that Allen, who had previously been listed as questionable, has now been downgraded to doubtful. That almost certainly means that Allen, who missed practice this week with a hip injury, will miss Sunday’s game.

Allen caught one pass, a 20-yard touchdown, last week against the Raiders before suffering the injury. In Allen’s absence, tight end Coby Fleener may get more passes thrown his way.

The Colts, who also lost top running back Vick Ballard to a season-ending injury this week, are now operating at far less than 100 percent on offense.
