Andre Johnson being evaluated for concussion

Andre Johnson, Michael Griffin AP

Texans receiver Andre Johnson may have suffered a concussion in today’s win over the Titans.

Johnson is being evaluated for a concussion now, the team confirmed to PFT’s Mike Florio.

The Texans’ wild win was notable mostly for the way DeAndre Hopkins emerged as the best complementary threat to Johnson that Houston has had. But Johnson also played well, catching eight passes for 76 yards.

Losing Johnson for any period of time would be a major blow for the Texans.

    Not sure how there wasn’t a flag on that play. NFL referees are so inconsistent that it’s pathetic.

    @wearesteelers
    Is it really that funny to you that a player is out due to a concussion? I think we should all be “LOL” ing at your steelers instead.

    Guaranteed Pollard will be fined. Wasn’t a head to head but he launched into Andre’s head with his shoulder while Andre was in a defenseless position.

    I don’t know if Andre Johnson could consider his career with the texans a waste. He helped make them a relevant team. as a franchise, they are young still. He has emerged as the teams best offensive player in their short history. There is a lot to say for being in the spit he has put himself. He is an elite level receiver.one of the best in recent years.
    And he has done a lot for the franchise. And vice versa.

    Johnson has been a class act his entire career. A definite HOFer who helped legitimize the Texans. Hope it’s nothing serious and he’s back out there soon!
