Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks briefly left Sunday’s game vs. the Broncos with a finger injury, but he would return to the game soon thereafter.
According to the CBS telecast, Nicks suffered a dislocated finger on a dropped pass early in the second quarter. However, he was back in the game on the next series. Toward the end of the first half, Nicks would make an impressive leaping catch on third down to keep a Giants drive alive.
The 25-year-old Nicks is one of the Giants’ key players in the passing game. He finished the first half with three catches for 71 yards. Denver leads New York 10-9 at halftime.
