The Packers will be missing three defensive backs who play regular roles for the club in Sunday’s game vs. Washington.
Starting free safety Morgan Burnett, cornerback/special-teamer Jarrett Bush and cornerback Casey Hayward are all inactive with hamstring injuries, the club said Sunday.
Hayward, who intercepted six passes in 2012, had already been ruled out for his second consecutive game. However, Burnett and Bush were both questionable on the injury report.
M.D. Jennings and Jerron McMillian will get the call at safety for Green Bay with Burnett out. The Packers also have Chris Banjo in reserve.
With Hayward and Bush out, the Packers’ corners are starters Tramon Williams and Sam Shields and backups Davon House and Micah Hyde.
Rain is expected to be a factor in Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field, according to WeatherUnderground.com.
